Approval for Recurring General Journals

Good afternoon,

We have enabled General Journal Batch Approval Workflow in our company. Recurring General Journals fall under this workflow. Our problem (which others have from looking online) is that there is no way to Request Batch Approval on the Recurring General Journal page, which means its stuck there unless you disable the workflow (which we do not want to be doing for Operational reasons)

Has anyone found a way around this? At this stage we would take either allow the recurring journal be posted without approval and without removing the workflow or an alternative way of approving the batch.

Kind regards,

Sean

    Hi

I also agree that MS should add approval to recurring general journal. I know some other companies made a small development to add it to this page.

Looks like Microsoft is reviewing this request and I hope they add it to BC

Thank you, I have voted for this change. Apart from adding development,  or turning off approval workflows for General Journals, do you know of any other way around this in the interim?

I could not find any other method for recurring journal. The only other way is in workflow exclude recurring journal by adding filter. this way all other journal goes through the process except recurring journal.

    Hi!

Were you able to exclude the recurring journal ?  I tried to add the condition "recurring : no", but it didn't work

Is there other filter that i can use?

    Thanks!
