Hi
I'm setting up a one of my customers in a Business Central Cloud environment. I'm trying to configure a user account for multiplexing, that is a user account to be used by a custom web to access data in Business Central.
The Dynamics 365 Licensing Guide | February 2020 states "Pooled connections use a non-interactive user account in Dynamics 365 that can access the system but only via the web service layer" - this is what I want.
I've found a couple of instructions on how to do this, but none have worked so far as I'm unable to find, or open a settings page that allows me to set the access mode to non-interactive.
Followng this guide (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/power-platform/admin/create-users-assign-online-security-roles#create-a-non-interactive-user-account) - I'm unable to complete step 2 as I do not have a Settings menu or command in the Power Platform Admin center.
Using the Qgate instructions (https://www.qgate.co.uk/knowledge/creating-a-non-interactive-user-in-dynamics-365/) - I'm also stuck on step 2/3 as there is no Settings menu or command anywhere on my portal.
Any help or more detailed instructions on how to setup a non-interactive user account in Business Central Cloud environment is much appreciated.
Kind regards and many thanks in advance
Þorbjörn
Hello,
This is the link you do need:
admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/.../
From there you do start up the Dynamics 365 C&E environment and from Settings, you can adjust the newly created users by setting the access mode to non interactive.
