Allow sorting forum posts by date when searching

When you search for forum posts, you are not able to sort by date. The posts are sorted by 'Relevance' with no option to change. Many forum posts become outdated quickly, and users may need to stay on top of recent developments in a certain area.

I realize this might not be the appropriate place to bring this up, but there don't seem to be any other channels to discuss or submit request for the forums themselves. I'd be happy to go through another channel if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi,

I agree with you. I think you should create a community support ticket as I am not sure if employees responsible for the community will notice this question.

By the way, why arent you using notifications? On my community profile settings, I set up notifications per mail and when they land in the mail I set up a rule for community notifications. Thats how I stay up to day and dont miss anyhting.

Thanks for your feedback. As mentioned by Adis, you can use the forum support for your suggestion. Please note that the same feedback was already shared to Microsoft in the past. I'm looking forward to better filter and sort options on the search page myself as well.
