I need to create production plan for a month in dynamic 365 business central. And After actually produced the items, I need to get comparison about the Planned Vs actual quantities. I have no basic idea for this planing process in business central. Can you help me to do this

    Hello,

Use the Planning Worksheet to create monthly planned production orders, convert them to Released Orders, record actual output via the Production Journal, then compare results using Production Reports like Prod. Order Calculation for planned vs actual quantities and costs.

I'd start by going through the documentation for this as it will clear a lot of things up - Supply Planning - Business Central | Microsoft Learn

    Hi,

The standard approach is to create Production Orders for the planned quantities for the month. You can use the Planning Worksheet or Forecast feature to generate these orders. Post consumption and output as the production progresses.
For comparison of Planned vs Actual, you can use the Production Order Statistics page for each order.

There are now Power BI default reports for Manufacturing. Use them for production statistics.

    Regards
    Rishabh
