Hi All!

Hopefully someone can help or give some ideas on how to do this.

We have a customer who is wanting to automatically run some functionality when a Purchase Invoice has been imported into BC using Continia.

The functionality is bespoke & currently workings perfectly via a button on the CDC Doc. Header Fields ListPar page, but they want to get to a stage where this just automatically runs without having to action everything individually.

I have been trying to navigate through the Continia code for an appropriate event but have came up empty so far!

Hello,

I guess this is not the Standard Functionality of Business Central. So you need to Customize the same and make changes as per the Requirements.

Hi Jainam,

No this is not standard functionality. Not sure what you are suggesting if I am being honest.

I am asking does anyone have any previous experience with something like this that could point me in the right direction of how to automatically run the bespoke code on import of a document?

As other experts mentioned, there is no standard functionality for this.
The only things you can try are APIs.
You can try to transfer this data from AL or Power Automate.

Continia also has several job queues to automate a lot of their functionality, have you looked at those?
