Opening BC Pages on a second screen

Hi all,
our users are used to NAVISION (onpremise) and the NAVISION client.
In this version a new window was opened on the second screen when they created a new article, etc.

But in the new BC everything is just overlapped. I.e.: Here 3 windows

Is there any possibility to change this (i.e. with AL Code?).

Many thanks!
I have the same question (0)

Thanks all for your answers and proposed solutions!
Using the little icon on the top right corner is a good idea and helps a lot already. Unfortunately it is only visible once you are in an item card:

Another nice option would be to open a new window:

    Unfortunately this is not working:

    Hello,

You can duplicate the browser tab so that you can manage the multiple browser tabs in BC.

Hi, You can try the Business Central desktop app mentioned below, after opening the second window, click the icon below to open it separately. Although you can do this in the browser, it looks more like NAV in the app.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

I believe that's how it works on the web, and people will need to adapt to the change. I don't think we can customize it based on Navision.

    Thanks

That's how it works in a webclient ( browser). You can duplicate the browser tab if required.

In Business Central (BC), new pages open as overlays instead of separate windows like in Navision (On-Premise). Currently, there’s no built-in setting to force new windows, and AL Code cannot modify this behavior. However, users can manually open pages in a new tab/window using the Pop-out button.

    Hi,

Business Central’s default interface is the web client, which runs in a browser. Browsers don’t natively support spawning independent windows across multiple screens for a single application without specific configurations or extensions. Overlapping windows (modal dialogs or layered pages) are standard in web design to keep everything cohesive.

No, it is a webclient so you cannot see multiple screens at the same time, you can duplicate the same window and have another screen in that tab. But you cannot compare this Navision.
