I would like to confirm that there is no additional charge for existing user to access the additional production environment, right?

Hello,

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, each customer with a Premium or Essential subscription is provided with one production environment and three sandbox environments at no extra charge.

However, if you require additional production environments, they need to be purchased through your CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) partner.

So, there is an additional charge for accessing more than the default provided production environment.

Thanks Jainam. I understand the additional environment is needed to purchase thru' CSP partner. What do I mean is the user access right. We do not need to purchase another set of license for user to access the new production environment, right?

Hello,

You don't need to purchase additional licence for users to access the additional production environment.

Not from an official source but you can use it as an reference. Personally, I have done a couple of projects with mutiple production environments due to localization and there is no additional cost apart from the additional environment.
