Hi,

Can anyone explain to me why the do the Job Queue entries, get stuck in Ready state?

I'm working on an implementation, they have a job que that was supposed to run on the 1st of October as it can be seen on the Earliest Start Date, but several days have passed and it still hasn't ran.

Thanks,
Moiz

    Hi,

Can you share how the job queue has been setup?

Also, check if the Earliest Start Date is before Current Date and time. If thats the case try changing it and see if it works.

    Hello,

please check if you have any value in the Job Queue Category Code. You will need to have
It is something that you need to have for recurring jobs from 24.2 version.

Also enter Ending Time in the Recurrence tab.

    Greetings

    @Ramiz, Thanks for the response.

The Job queues are set as a schedule from Monday to Sunday, one of them started running once I pressed restart and I'm sure the others will follow. The Earliest Start date is Before the current date, i.e. 01/10/2024 or 01 October 2024.

    The status is ready.
The Start and End times are not defined, so it should as scheduled.
I'm not using a date formula either
The task is supposed to run every 1440 Mins.
The last time the job ran according to the log was 30/ September 2024
It was rescheduled to rerun on the 1st of October, but it didn't run and has been in that "ready" state ever since.

I think I've found the solution after reading @Mustafa Omerbegovic's reply. Thanks Mate
