Hi,
- Make sure you define a Load template and define the load split shipment confirmation policy for the load. Here we will take it as "Split load to a new load"
- Create a load using outbound load planning workbench (Here I am taking one sales order with 2 lines)
- Select the load template created in step 1. While selecting the load template do not et confused by the field Delivery policy. This is applicable for receiving.
The details of the load split shipment confirmation policy are visible on the load now. These values default from the setup on the load template. User can change them on the load if needed,
- Release load to warehouse and make sure picking work are successfully created, (You need to make sure Wave and work templates are setup along with location directives)
- Two sales picking work are generated in my case.
- Now intentionally complete only one work. This will simulate the scenario where you are not able to load the planned load quantity for some business reason.
- Now you want to dispatch the partially loaded load and for that you confirm the load by clicking on the confirm outbound shipment.
- You will get the message that the existing load is split, and the remaining quantities are transferred to a new load.
- Finally the old load as below
- New load generated for the remaining quantity. This time make sure you dispatch all the quantities and if not you can split this load further starting a chain. :)
