Hi, I have a question on filtering dashboard. I want to create a new dashboard and I want to add some other field inside the Filter by category and right now I haven't found a way to do it:

I want it to be like below example, where I can select the filtration not just based on Created on and Modified on:

How do I do that?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Nur_Nina,

By custom time frame do you mean the one shown in the screenshot below?

As I mentioned before, the default time frame filter value for the Filter By field.

Change time frame of the rows displayed. You can choose from predefined timeframes or select your own.

In custom time frame, Start Date and End Date fields are not fields of current entity, they are just time selectors fixed to the time frame of dashboard design, which just allow you to choose any time you want to filter current dashboard.

    Hi ,

thanks for replying. I've noticed that inside the dashboard, there is also a custom time frame which has Start Date and End Date. What are these dates refer to? because I don't see any Start Date or End Date field inside the entity.

    Hi Nur_Nina,

Users can apply additional filtering with global filter and timeframe filter.

    1.For timeframe filter:

When the dashboard form opens, at the top of form:

    • Filter By: The field that the time frame filter applies to.

    • Time Frame: The default time frame filter value for the Filter By field.

Through my test, if you want to one field can appear in the drop-down list of the 'Filter By', you need ensure that the field is date data type or rollup field type.

    2.For global filter:

For a field to appear in the global filter, you have to set the Appears in global filter in interactive experience flag for this field.
