Replenishment

I am new in learning about Business Central and I have a question regarding replenishment.
If my location is bin mandatory with require put-away and pick but not directed put-away and pick how can I set up for replenishment and do it step by step? Because all the videos and materials I have found so far are for directed put-away and pick locations.
Thanks for the help.

Can you clarify what you're trying to do? Are you looking to buy inventory using a purchase order to replenish your stock, or are you aiming to use the planning engine for suggested replenishment?
Just so you know, picks are primarily used for selling inventory, while put-aways are for receiving inventory. If your goal is simply to buy inventory with a purchase order, here are the steps you should follow:
    1. Create a purchase order.
    2. Add items to the order.
    3. Create a put-away.
    4. Register/post the put-away.
    5. Invoice the items on the purchase order.

Is there any error message? As far as I know, the operation is no different.

    Thanks

If you mean replenish on the bin level via below screen, you need to have a directed location. If you mean to replenish inventory based on supply/demand on the item level, you need to set up BC referencing item planning https://learn.microsoft.com/en-ca/dynamics365/business-central/production-about-planning-functionality

The tool to use is either planning worksheet or requisition worksheet depending on if you are on premium or essential license.
