Hi All,
 
Have any of you done Electronic Accounting of Mexico in BC including receiving xml invoices from vendors, compliment of payment, VAT tax return and all other related to electronic accounting.

    Yes, Electronic Accounting for Mexico in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) can be implemented, covering:

    1. Receiving XML Invoices from Vendors

    • Use the PEPPOL e-Invoicing feature or third-party add-ons to import and process CFDI XML invoices.
    • Automate vendor invoice recognition using Power Automate or custom extensions.

    2. Complemento de Pago (Payment Complement)

    • Business Central supports CFDI 3.3 / 4.0 Payment Complement (Complemento de Pago).
    • Automatically generate XML for payments based on invoices.
    • Ensure correct UUID matching for compliance.

    3. VAT Tax Return & Reporting

    • Use Mexican Localization (MS Localization or ISV solutions) for:
      • DIOT (Declaración Informativa de Operaciones con Terceros)
      • Electronic Accounting XML files (Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, etc.)
      • Monthly/Annual VAT reporting (IVA)

    4. SAT Compliance & Electronic Ledger Submission

    • Configure BC’s Electronic Accounting Add-on or third-party compliance tools.
    • Generate and validate XML files per SAT requirements.
    • Submit accounting reports via Contabilidad Electrónica to SAT.

    • Ensure BC is configured with Mexican localization.
    • Leverage Power Automate / Azure Logic Apps for XML automation.
    • Use ISV solutions (e.g., Contpaqi, EDICOM, or CFDI-certified tools) for full compliance.
