Copy company is taking too long and after hours it stops

Hi All,
One of our client is having an issue with "Copy Company" process, where the copy starts but after 4 to 5 hours nothing happens. The company that we copy does not show up in the companies list. 2 attempts have been made but still no luck, 
 
Any idea what could be the issue or where can we check in the log why it is not creating the company.

    Hello,
     
    You may run the Copy Company through job queue and see if job queue will give you error logs.
     
    I did not run a copy company through the job queue ever, and nor have I had any issues with copy company action.
     
    If you think that this will help you, you can try it, and please share the results on the thread.

    Do you know if the company size is extremely large?

    The size of the company is 25 GB only.
     
    I will check on the Job queue function and will let you know. 
     
    I will involve Microsoft in this to see if they can help us out.

    This is a bit strange, 25G shouldn't take so long to copy, I've done similar tests before when testing the content below and it didn't take so long.
     
    You can try two things: 1. Restart the environment 2. Uninstall all third-party extensions and try again
    If the problem persists, it may be a problem with the environment or the tenant itself. You can only submit a SR to Microsoft to resolve it.

    • Large company data copies can require significant resources, so ensure that your server has sufficient CPU, memory, and disk space to complete the operation.
     
    • If you're using Business Central SaaS, Microsoft support can often assist by checking if the system resources are constrained during the process.

    Hi All,
    Thank you for your responses. I have opened a support ticket with Microsoft and waiting for a response from them. 
     
    We have tried to restart the environment multiple times and that also didnt resolve the issue. 
     
    I have done this process with other client where the database size is 40 GB and it was completed in a reasonable time. 
     
    Will update everyone once I get this resolved by Microsoft.

    Hi All,
     
    So it turns out that the issue was related to the background process. 
     
    when Microsoft digged into the logs, the copy failed every time because there was a job running in the back.
     
    We tried running the copy company outside of the running jobs and the process completed within 40 mins. 
     
    I hope this helps other people, who run into this kind of an issue.

    Hi, 
    I have just created one company using copy companies from my sandbox. I did not faced any issues. 
    I believe your company data may be Larger along with customization or some  integrated application is running.
