CRM 365 Delete Managed Solution Cause "There is no active transaction. This error is usually caused by custom plug-ins that ignore errors from service calls and continue processing"

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi experts,

Just like the header said CRM 365 delete managed solution causes "There is no active transaction. This error is usually caused by custom plug-ins that ignore errors from service calls and continue processing". I tried to:

  1. Removed duplicate step in plugin and make sure no duplicate steps for other plugin
  2. Disabled all ActivityFeed plugins steps
  3. Deactivated all Activity Feeds Rules
  4. Deactivated all Activity Feeds Configuration
  5. Making sure PluginProfile is not installed

And still no luck

Any idea?

Thanks

Sam

If it is not plugin related,

I also suggest you log out your CRM environment, and sign in again after deleting the managed solutions.

Sometimes the browser or local cache may still remember some trace which is already deleted in CRM.

Check if you have any plugin registered in solution entity messages.

Contact solution provider from whom you downloaded.
