Hi,

I created an email template for the lead entity. I need to be able to insert field from the parent account entity in the email content.

The insert/update popup shows only fields for the lead entity.

How can I do that please.

I dont think you can do this with OOB but there is a custom workflow in codeplex that can be used to get this done

I would create the <Custom>_WebsiteURL in the lead entity (you don't need to put it on the form) Then have a workflow that runs on save to copy from the Parent Account into the <Custom>_WebsiteURL on the lead - then you can pick this up in your email template.

If you also want the ability to update the URL based on the Parent Account Changing you can have a workflow to push on change of field
