Account cannot reopen

Hi Experts,

When user is trying to reopen the account in record itself, there is a javascrip error stated " object is not found" error. but it is ok when reopen the account in main view

We do not have any Js on that form.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Check the record, is the record has any option set that is mandatory but no value? if yes, try to assign a value and try.

    Hi,

    When you say Reopen, you mean activate/ deactivate or is this Re-open your custom button?

    Can you share a screenshot? If it is a javascript error then there must be some javascript. It could be system which must be checking some value which is missing.

    Check if you are getting the issue on newly created records or just the existing ones.

    yes, after update the value, we can reopen within the form

    the root caused is found. it is caused by an empty value optionset.

    Hi,

    this issue only happen in few versions , not all. So, i would say this is not normal.
