Projected Available Inventory and Reservations

Hello All,

In Business Central (SaaS) we use reservations to help us promise accurate dates to our customers and protect that inventory.
We are confused with the 'Projected Available Balance' on the Item Availability by Location, and Availability by Period

The definition on the field is:  Specifies the item's availability. This quantity includes all known supply and demand but does not include anticipated demand from demand forecasts or blanket sales orders or suggested supplies from planning or requisition worksheets.

My question is why does this not take into account Reservations?
Eg if we have 10 in stock, but 3 reserved on a sales order - should this not show right now as the 'Projected Available Balance' - because the 3 units on the sales order are not available once they have been reserved?

I have the same question (0)
