Set Unit of Measure Weight in Kg

Hi All,

We have a customer who buys and sells an item in boxes so on the item card base UOM, purchase and sales UOM, all are set to Box.  Now how do we record the weight of a Box in Kg?  If we just enter say 5 in the weight field this does not indicate whether its in Kg or Lbs or any other weight measurement.  We do not want to set the UOM as Kg since we are not selling Kgs but Boxes.  Looks like I'm missing a field

Thanks

The weight measurement isn’t stated to make it useful depending if you use metric or imperial. Have your client opt for a weight measurement preference and stick to it. Will save you having to modify and create supporting features beyond just adding a field. If they want flexibility use an item attribute to stipulate which type it is.
