Hello All,

I am facing one problem as below

We are creating 3 opportunities in lead qualification process(1 Default Opportunity and 2 Custom Opportunity). Contacts for originating lead are showing on default opportunity which creates by system, but same contacts are not getting displayed on rest 2 opportunity which we creates using workflow.

Please suggest for the same.

Waiting for your reply and thanks in advance.

Thanks

Abhijeet

I would turn on workflow records so you can see if the workflow was triggered and where it got in your workflow.

Are you sure the workflow is being triggered?

is the workflow being triggered but not running correctly

I'm not really sure what the question/problem is

what is the difference between default and custom opportunity.

is custom opportunity a new entity you have created?

are you saying you have a workflow which is triggered by your custom opportunity.  This is creating contacts.

So what has happened when the workflow has run?  did it go through all the conditions?

did the contacts create but then you didn't associate them with another entity, search CRM for those contacts.

If the workflow ran correctly you should be able to look at the custom opportunity, workflows.  See you workflow instance, click on it and see where it got to.  If it created the contacts you can click on the contact record.

maybe you could try setting the workflow to on demand and running it again manually.  Then seeing what happens

    Hello Ben,

I will tell you scenario. We are using MS CRM 2013.

One lead with 3 stakeholders/contacts. When we qualify lead we wrote one workflow which will create two more opportunities for the same lead.

So default opportunity which created by crm had those stakeholders/contact under stakeholders subgrid. But opportunities created using workflows are not having those contacts/stakeholders.

So my question is how will i show those contacts/stakeholders on opportunities created using workflows.

    Please suggest

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks

    Abhijeet

you need to link the contacts with the new opportunities you have created

you should be able to this in the workflow after you have created the opportunities
