A SQL Server Error Occurred when importing solution to On premises 2016 CRM 365.

We are importing a .zip file which is 557KB. We have checked the server and cant find an error in the SQL logs. (Not sure how to check the CRM one). We have checked the RAM and disk space. Finally we have increased the Registry Timeout Settings.

Any help would be massively appreciated! A little lost on where to go next.

Thank you!

Aleia

    Hi All,

I am happy to say the import finally made it into the Test Environment. Thank you so much.

    Hi Aleia,

Seems you are in on-premise , could you please restart the SQL server  and go to services.msc and find CRM async service , restart the service  and try to import .

    looks like same : community.dynamics.com/.../120057

once you have enabled the tracing - try to import the solution again and then look for logs : kishoredhanekula.com/.../enable-tracing-for-dynamics-crm-on-premise

    Hi Rawish

This is the error on contacts

0x80044150 Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

How do I turn on tracing?

    Thank you

    Hi Aleia,

please click on download file and open it with Excel.

verify if there is any detailed error you can see? also try to import the solution again if error comes up i would suggest you to turn on tracing and see the error there.
