Table missing after Sql Insertion

Dear All,

I have created a table in BC but inserting data from Sql insert query. Unfortunately, this table is disappearing from Sql server but can be seen/accessed from AL report.

I am wondering why my table is in Sql because it was been there initially. I created another and inserted the data and again it disappeared. When I ran the select query I get an error referring to inexistence of an object.

Whoes got the idea on what happened on that table?.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

This does not sound familiar to me. Please consider raising a support request with Microsoft support if you have a repro of the scenario in a demo database.

    Thanks.

What version are you running? and why are you using SQL insert to insert the data? What happens if you insert the data from BC? I don't believe inserting data from SQL will cause that but I also don't like the idea of inserting data using SQL, either do that from AL or using Integration.

    Suresh,

Am using SQL because it can do summation and GroupBy but am unable to do it in AL report.

Am using an AL report to create a Gen. Journal.

    Suresh,

Since am unable to do Summation in AL, am using SQL to do all my summation since its more flexible, then the result of summation am inserting it in AL table then I will build a report that will be ran and transfer the data to Journal. That's what am doing.
