Error when Sharing Power App with users

Hi community,

I'm hoping I can get some help with this issue that's left me at the end of my wits.

Situation: I've created a Power App which integrates with MS Dynamics 365 over Common Data Service. The App reads from and writes data to a CRM instance. When I access it with my dynamics account, all works great and I can do everything in the App.

Problem: When I attempt to share the App with a user who doesn't have a dynamics 365 license, I get the error on the following screenshot. According to MS documentation, users for an App which has a premium connector like CDS must have either a Power Apps per user plan license OR Power Apps per app plan license. We have Power Apps per app plan licenses assigned to our tenant which gets allocated to the user on sharing the App with them.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong here?

Thanks in advance of any and every helpful information.

In my case it was not an external user with this error.

it's not possible to share PowerApps with external users, but it is a planned feature that will be added soon. You can find out more here. Yes, it's possible to push/pull data from a SharePoint online list.

    Hi @kolamazing,

    Any update on this?

    I had the same:

    1. First make sure that your per app license is assigned to the environment where the app is
      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/about-powerapps-perapp
    2. I did this in my case but still got a similar error --> there seemed to be a problem with the sync of users from Azure Active Directory and used the preview Action to Force Sync the user
      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/powerplatformforadmins/#force-sync-user

    Step 2 helped me!
