I am unable to see the data in a report after creating it. anyone knows what are the reasons for not getting the data.

First I created a RDLC report and then I opened custom report layout and clicked on new and then inserted created report and then crated a design in the report builder.

Is there any mistake in the process please suggest me with the answers.

Did you do the dataset on your own or it's a custom layout for a standard one?

Please the table filter you put in the DataItem. Also please check if there is any data available in the table.

Run the report, and in the request page choose: Send, Export to Excel (data only).

If the data is in the excel file, the error it in the layout, if not, then the error is in the dataset generation or it might be a filter.
