Hi guys,

I've just found that there is a new version of SDK 9.0, which obviously needs to be used to connect to 365 Online. I've been trying to download and install new CrmSdk Powershell SDK but without any success. Could you please advise me? Any help much appreciated.

    Follow the following documentation:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../download-tools-nuget

Basically create a directory on your computer where you want your tools to be installed (for our sake, let's say C:\crmtools)

    Fire up Windows PowerShell

    Change the directory to C:\crmtools:

    CD C:\crmtools

Copy the script from the above link into PowerShell and Press Enter.

The files will be downloaded to your crmtools folders.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Aric,

Thank you for swift reply. Yeah I have done above steps. But what I would like to achieve is to download new Powershell module (see name below) in powershell to able automatize deployment of our CRM 365 Solution to Cloud.

    Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PackageDeployment.PowerShell --version 9.0.0.7

but can't make it work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Michal,

The easiest way probably is using Package Manager from Visual Studio.

Open Visual Studio (make sure you have a solution open).

Go To Tools -> NuGet Package Manager -> Package Manager Console

Inside the console paste the following command:

    Install-Package Microsoft.CrmSdk.XrmTooling.PackageDeployment.PowerShell -Version 9.0.0.7

This will download the package into your solution folder (in a subfolder called packages).

Just tried it myself and is working.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Aric,

Thank you for your suggestion. I've figured out pretty easily. Just download nuget.exe from official page and run command nuget install name_package --version x.x.x.x.

    Thank anyway for your help.

Glad it works. Basically same logic internal or external to Visual Studio...
