Bringing the contents inside the custom report to a message box

Dear members,

I would like to know how to bring the contents in the custom report to a message box. I have a customized report designed as per my requirement. Consider that on clicking a button ( customized ), I want the contents inside the custom report to be shown in the message box.

Can you members suggest me an appropriate solution to meet out my requirement..??

Hi,

one way could be to save the value you want to output as a global variable.

In the OnPostReport Trigger (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/triggers-auto/report/devenv-onpostreport-report-trigger) you can then show this global var in a message box.
