CRM Online Discovery Service returns no Organizations

Hi

I am working on Dynamics CRM Online (2015) provisioned through Office 365 with two instances; one Sandbox and one Production.

When I try to access the instances using Plugin Registration Tool it does not return any organisations

Error : You don't have permission to access any of the organizations in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online region that you specified. If you're not sure which region your organization resides in, choose "Don't know" for the CRM region and try again. Otherwise check with your CRM administrator.
Parameter name: EMEA

I tried the Discovery Service Sample Code in the SDK and this does the same thing

You do not belong to any organizations on the specified server

There are no errors. I can access the Organizations/Instances no problems with the browser, it just looks like the Discovery Service is broken

Anyone have any ideas?

Julian

Are you able to login to the crm using web browser if so go to settings->Customization->developer resources there you will find your discovery service url of the organization

I have already done so and I am using the correct discovery service URL. It is just that it returns No Organisations.

The latest Plugin Registration Tool allows you to specify Don't Know for the region of you CRM Online Instances and tests all of them. None of them returned any organisatoin

I have access to another Office 365 Tenant with CRM Online and both the Plugin Registration Tool and the SDK code work returning the organisations on that Tenant.

check whether the user account that you are using has crm license assigned in office 365.

    1.Go to portal.office.com/Admin-> Users-> Active Users

2.Select the user you want to disable.

3.Right side of the page you will see Assigned License

4.Click-on edit and add  crm license

Yes the user does have a CRM license, a CRM Enterprise License

The user also has System Administrator and System Customizer roles

As I said the user can access the organisations individually through the browser

May be production and sandbox organizations have same Guid that may cause this issue. I would suggest calling Microsoft support.

I have seen people had this issue with on-premise crm when they make copy of the organizations.

I have raised a Service Request on the Office 365 Portal and will see where that gets me

The instances have not been copied so would not expect the same guid. They have different unique organization names

    It is strange

The issue is that the discovery service returns no organisations for my user account. I have created a new user account and this works fine. I have logged this with Microsoft.

Hello! I know this is an old post, any chance you remember the resolution? I am in the same or very similar scenario.
