Missing PrvRead Privilege for my custom entity

I have a user assigned with a CRM Role which has CREATE, READ and Write access to my custom entity say entity-A.

A custom button for this CRM Role is provided for the user to fire a workflow which adds a record in entity-A.

I recieved the following error when the button is clicked:

Error:500:Internal Server Error
Principal user (Id= ....., type=8) is missing prvRead<entity-A> privilege (Id= .....)

Please help

This is probably because the workflow is performing an action under the context of another user - check the userid and compare it with your users ID

From the workflow log, I noticed that I need Append and Append To privileges for the relationship. Not sure why it gives the Read privilege error message on the entity.

From the Plugin Log, I too assumed what Scott said above. Wondering why should it still check for user's permissions to work on something that the Context User of the plugin is already having.
