Do they have the Depreciate all assets checkbox checked? If not, they will need to create and use an Asset Group ID. Another possibility is that a Field Security restriction has been placed on that user. Unlikely, but possible, is that a VBA script has been added to this user's machine that disables the button. Can this user depreciate on a different machine or as a new user using a copy of his security?

    Hi,

This user can depreciate before but onetime he did not allow to complete process and cancel the process by click on cancel.  The he got this issue. There is no field level security or vba script for this changes. I think there is some lock in table on this user but we need to get the details to clear the lock.

Check for a record with his user id in table FA01500. Also, with everyone logged off, clear any records from the following tables in the DYNAMICS db:

    ACTIVITY

    SY01800

    SY00801

With everyone still logged off, clear any records from the following tables in the tempdb

    DEX_LOCK

    DEX_SESSION

Let us know if that does anything.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Also check the FA01500  and FA40203 tables - there may be a record stuck in one of them for this user.
