Changing Sales tax Method

Just confirming - in GP10 and GP2010 - if you enter your sales order and then change the tax schedule ID on the Sales Customer Detail Entry window - this does not change the existing lines.

is there a way to roll that down?

    Andrea,

the change code on that field doesn't have any business logic to roll down to the line items. The ability to roll down to the lines items based on a change in the header would be to change the Ship To Address in the header. Kind of a whishy/washy workaround...but without some addittional dex code firing, that isn't going to possible I am afraid.

Thanks Aaron....one more question - what is the heirarchy on the sales tax schedule used on the SOP document - between customer card, customer address card and ship from site tax schedule.

    Andrea,

Have you taken a look at this KB that is out there.  This covers the tax calculations for RM, SOP and Invoicing.
