How to create multiple child cases using a workflow

Hi

how to create a workflow that loops on a subgrid and create child case for each entry in this subgrid , all of these child case should belong to a certain master case.

for example, i do have a CASE called (Branches Installation), this case is automatically created upon certain logic on the related opportunity.

now, on the opportunity, i do have a custom entity called Branches , and there is a subgrid to enter multiple branches for this opportunity.

When this (Branches Installation) creation is triggered, i need also to create child cases for all opportunity-related branches entries.

any idea?

thanks,

    Hi Ahmad,

There  is a advantages if you go for custom workflow like you can trigger on demand basis. So if you need to execute case creation on demand then go for custom workflow else you can write plugin which will trigger create event of branches.

In that case you need to writeyour own custom workflow activity or need to use flow as suggested.

    Hi,

This can't be done OOB workflow, so you need to think about using custom workflow, Check in Github there are custom workflow library which you can use to loop through child records, and implement your requirement.

Check this post: www.crminnovation.com/.../workflow-heroes it will help you to find correct workflow for you.

Another no code solution is touse Microsoft Flow, you can use flow to loop through child records and create entity record based on your requirement.
