if the item received hasn't been moved to other bins. Such as in the case of a put away. User could go to posted purchase receipt and undo receipt. If this is not possible, you need to finish the who purchase processes and do a credit memo to reverse the whole thing.

Hi,

Not invoiced-> Undo in posted purchase receipt
Invoiced -> Create Purchase Credit memo to cancel
