our user wants to use Opportunity (sometimes Lead as well) to track their sales process.
Now because all of their customers/ Client would be managed by Broker. therefor their opportunity contact often is the broker not someone from the client company.
after a quick test around opportunity and account / contacts, and it seems that used the Contact field on Opportunity to hold the broker (just a contact record in the organisation) and use the Account field on opportunity to hold their customer/client company name works fine.
However my question is "by associating the same opportunity to both contact and account which are not associated, will this lead to any issues or problems?"
Any ideas? suggestions please?
