Regarding Created By Delegate feild

Hi,

I am new in Dynamic 365 and I am having question that how we can get data in Created By (Delegate) field on any Entity. Can we set the value in this field using Plugin or Workflow or JavaScript or it will update Out of Box?

I my Case, I am having Approval Request Entity the Records for which are getting created using Plugin whose Run in User Context is 'Calling User'. But still every time the record is created, Created By (Delegate) field is blank in Approval Request Entity. May I know what is the reason behind this? Am I missing any step for getting Value in this field?

If your plugin is running in 'Calling User' context. The delegated created by will be empty.

If your plugin is running in 'Specific user' context. Created by will be "Specific user" and delegated will be the the user who fire the plugin
