Hy,
I Just saw here your comment about programming language's,
sometime's ago i also want to learn about this kind of stuff so, i am very conscious whenever em thinking about work or jobs like how to do, how do i do this, etc.
Someone suggest me that i have to try google as my instructor about my jobs work an any kind of query problems any ques so once i try i got very great results about after that i decide to use google as partner.
When i want to learn about Programming Language i found a blog which's so helpful,
i will share that here for helping stuff [ Authority Arrow ].
I hope you find more about your queries.
Thanks
And C/AL was based upon Pascal: PASCAL ==> CAL ==> AL ;-)
There are, imho, not much similarities with C or C++ or C#, since these are OO and AL is not OO.
Hi, I don't know the next end point of AL, but it is closely related to C/AL of NAV, and in fact accturAL evolved from C/AL.
C/AL -> AL

Hope this helps as well.
Thanks.

It's moving to be more C# like, but the basis is Pascal based.
There are some similarities but all languages have there quirks
