I need to make a report that shows average employees for a specified time period

Please allow me to ask for some more details. Are you looking for the average number of current employees, by their HR status, or by their active/inactive status. Also, do you want a daily count averaged over the time span, or weekly count, etc.
Did you find a solution? I would like to run an employee active headcount for a point in time. Example how many employees were active on December 31, 2014 and then how many employees were active on December 31 2015. Can you help me?
