Synchronize budget from Jobs to GL budgets

Hi Guys

Is there a way enter budgets only in Job planning lines and have them appear in GL reporting or do we have to enter budgets twice using dimensions for each job?Thanks

    As standard there is no way. With a well defined modification this could be done. Would you be focusing only on g/l accounts that can appear in job planning lines? What if I edit the budget should it flow back to jobs? And how do I conduct a split of the value per job it appears on? I think you would have to define which budget receives updates. Then a batch job would be needed to push an update to that g/l budget and takes whatever the aggregated total is per g/l account per date for all jobs in the filter.
