SRS Data Connector version not updating after install

I have recently updated our CRM 365 on-prmise installation to update 2.1.  Everything went well, but when I look at the server list in Deployment Manager the SRS Data Connector is still showing version 8.0.0000.1088 instead of 8.2.0001.0176.

I checked the SSRS server and can see in the installed programs listed that it installed fine.  There is nothing in the logs indicating a problem.  The only info regarding the update of the version in mscrm_config is the following:

07:43:35|   Info| Database updates are not supported for this particular Component/Sku.  Only updating server version in ConfigDB

07:43:35|   Info| CrmAction execution time; DBUpdateAction; 00:00:00

07:43:35|   Info| CrmAction execution time; UpdateServerVersionInConfigDbAction; 00:00:00

However, when I look in the server table the version is still 8.0.0000.1088.

I am not sure if this is affecting anything, but it is just strange that the version number isn't updating.

Cheers,

Chuck

Hi there, I'm currently having the same issue, I did the update of the SRS in the report server and is still reported in the Deployment Manager with the oldest version. do you know what I'm missing or if this is a kind of bug?

    Hi!

    Any updates on this one?

I have the same issue at a Customer site Dynamics 365 On Premises multi server deployment where i updated SRS Data Connector to 8.2.21 in a SQL HA cluster of 4 nodes. In Deployment Manager the primary node has correct version but the other 3 displays the old version 8.1 even if they have been updated.

Running following query against MSCRM_CONFIG shows the same incorrect info about the 3 passive SQL Servers.

select FullName, Version from dbo.server order by FullName
