Good day,
 
I'm trying to update data in the item cards using the 'edit in Excel'. When I filter for a specific vendor I am able to export to Excel, but with the 'Edit in Excel' option I'm getting all items. Not sure what I'm doing wrong because of the amount of lines Excel will not load all the rows.
 
Any help would be appreciated.

    Filtering the page in Business Central only affects Open in Excel, one option for Edit in Excel is to filter directly in the Excel file:

    Hello Rosemary,
    You’re likely not doing anything wrong — Edit in Excel respects most page filters, but not all, so your Vendor filter is probably one of the filters that isn’t being passed to Excel, which is why it loads all items instead of just the filtered ones. Open in Excel is stricter about respecting the current page view, but Edit in Excel can drop unsupported filters and show more rows.

    Thank you all, feeling a little stupid right now because the option is right there. The options would work the same as the standard Excel options, going through the document now.

    You are following the exact way out, issue is not with the edit in excel from Business Central. Check your Excel Business Central Addin and the filter possibly attached. Did you attempt a fresh taking your data in Edit in Excel?
