SalesPerson Report Customization Customer Name Issue

In the Salesperson commission report there was a field called Customer where the customer number is present.

But I want, Instead of Customer Number the Customer name should be coming.

I'm doing the report customization in RDLC.

In my Microsoft report builder there was a dataset consist of Cust_Ledger_Entry__Customer_No__ field.

How to resolve that issue.

Hi,

As the field is not part of dataset. You will have approach like this -

1. Using Report Extension you need to add Customer Name in Dataset.

2. Once added in dataset you can create a new layout (copy of existing) and all your new column as needed.

Saurav.Dhyani is correct. You need to add the field to the report dataset and then to the layout.
