Error when end production order because of missing dimensions: You must select a value in the XXX

Hi Everyone,
 
We've encountering this problem when end the production order. 
But we've input this dimension in posted picking list and in production order
 
 
 
 
We expect that when ending the production order, system should take dimension from original transaction, which is the picking list, or at least picking dimension from Production order.
 
We cannot fix this dimension because it it's the cost type, it depends on the nature of transactions.
 
I've booked ticket for MS support for about a month but there is no proper solution. Can anyone advise?

    Hi,
     
    I am not sure from where the dimensions are being picked in production to be honest. However, I would suggest the following:
     
     
    • Ask a developer to debug the process, he\she can tell you exactly from where the system is trying to pick the value, ie. where it is missing - I would recommend this approach if you have access to development.
    • Does it happen with all items, or just with specific ones? If not with all, then the dimensions may be pulled from the items.
    • Check the production order\picking list if the dimensions are missing either on the lines OR the header.
    • Check the dimensions from where the production order originates, Sales order, Purchase order etc.

    You are right it will pick possibly for pick list reversal from original transaction but during end of production, it also create fresh transaction and during that time i think it will pick from production header or item or somewhere it is defaulted.
