    Hello,

There are out of the box approval workflows that do this job for you on your behalf.

    Thank you.

    Hi

have you tried in the power automate flow when a record is approved to retrieve the row with the ROW ID with the Update Row (V2) block and update in the status field? it should work

IF YES ->SEND an EMAIL -> Update record (V2)

Hi, As far as I know this field cannot be modified directly, you may need to call the standard method.

    "Release Sales Document".PerformManualRelease(Rec);

PS: How to run AL procedure in Power Automate (Add custom execute actions)

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Yes, I tried that method and this gives me an error. "Status field is read only".

    I've used Update record V3

    hi

I ran a test on my sandbox, setting up an approval flow with Power automate

    pastedimage1665410146037v1.png

the flow that is created if successful already sets the Status field to Released on the Sales Order

    pastedimage1665410209615v2.png

    My Example:

    pastedimage1665410427607v6.png

    pastedimage1665410480076v7.png

as you can see, my Status field was modified without my adding a line of code

    Hallo,

Are you able to reproduce this error in a standard unmodified database without any extensions?

    Thank you.

This is fresh new database just created from CDX. I didn't install any extension, or data

    Hello,

Okay, when I am in the office again (tomorrow, w. europe standard time), I will setup a new CDX environment and try the scenario myself. As soon as I have a result, I will let you know.

    Thank you.
