Debit and Credit Columns in General Journals

Hi:

I have seen some online tutorials have debit and credit columns in general journals. But, I do not see these.

I, also, tried to add these two columns by clicking "Personalize". But, these two fields do not appear in the fields list for adding to the window.

What's up?

Two methods I know of. Check general ledger setup. There is a field about the amount visibility. It's an option field.

The other way is a general journal has a show more or show less columns button.

Hi John,

yes, you are right its a default functionality of Business central. find the General Journal and go to voucher ribbon and click on "Page" find the option "Show more Columns" You will be find debit and credit Columns.

Disregard.....I believe that the online tutorials were based on NAV.
