    Hello,

You start by going to "No. Series" and create a new one here, then go to action Related -> Series -> Lines, and specify the starting number:

After that, make sure to tick "Default Numbers" on the No. Series Line.

Then go to Inventory Setup and in "Item Nos." select your No. Series.

Now you can just leave the "No." field blank when you create a new Item, and a number will be allocated from your series. If you want to use the ... button in "Item No.", this is where you can set up related No. Series and choose a different No. Series for that item.

    I hope this makes sense?

As for the error you get, it seems that the item is filtered. Go to ? -> Help and support -> Inspect pages and data, and then on the pane that opens, click on "Page Filters" to see if there is a filter applied.

Hi, You can refer to the standard database.

The default No. Series for Item.

First you need to set the main No. Series in Inventory Setup.

Then you can add other related No. Series in Relationship.
