Does anyone know the name of the table that goes to the paycheck inquiry window.
when I scroll through check amounts show up and need to take away access to it.
I think the technical name is UPR_Inquiry_Check, but what is the upr name?

Jorge,
You are so right! I've always used the window security to restrict access to all payroll. I want to call attention to the fact that the AP CLERK had access to the window. Everybody should check to make sure they aren't being caught by that. For new installations, this little problem has been fixed, but since MS doesn't 'update' our existing roles - and we don't want them to - the problem still exists for companies that just upgraded to the version before it was fixed. That is, to version 10.
Kind regards,
Leslie
The table used in the scrolling window is a temp table, that's why it is not listed in the Security Task
That is what I thought but it still allows the user to see the data
Try these tables:
Payroll Cheque History UPR30100
Payroll Transaction History UPR30300
I understand how security works, I just want to know the name of the table so I can put that table in a database role I have called denypayroll. If a user has access to a particular window and that table is in my denypayroll databaser roll they will get the following error.
Dynamics GP security is controlled by Security Tasks and Security Roles. Following there are the default GP Security Roles which grant access to the paycheck inquiry window:
ACCOUNTING MANAGER*
AP CLERK*
BOOKKEEPER*
CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT*
PAYROLL CLERK*
