Importing Solution Entity Mapping issue.

Working on an MS Dynamics CRM 2016 on-prem environment, exporting a solution from one environment (Dev) to my QA environment.  Getting an error "Entity Mapping - account-product Failure 0x800480 EntityMap account -> product - Import: FAILURE. This entity map does not exist on the target system.  While the account entity is included in the solution, I cannot find any reference to the Product in the solution.  Has anyone had similar issues?  See below Snapshots of the import failure and a snapshot of the log file of the import.

Do you have any ideas on what I need to do fix the issues?

Thanks,

Jerry M.

  • RE: Importing Solution Entity Mapping issue.

    Hello

I have the same issue, but ... I am 100% sure I did not miss anything, because I am importing "Default solution". Any clues?

  • RE: Importing Solution Entity Mapping issue.

Once I figure out all that was missing, it worked.  We are trying to keep our Solutions small with the SOW, I did not realize that another developer had added a relationship between the account and product entity.  Good to have good communications between your developers.  Thanks!!

    Hi Jerry,

Some components seems to be missing.  When you export the solution, the wizard tells you that there are missing components in the solution.  Most cases you can ignore some of them since OOTB components and previously imported components are already in the target system.

Add the required components to the solution and try again.

Have you tried adding the required components into your solution and then exporting it and importing it to the target CRM?
