Yes — you can bulk update costs, but the right approach depends on the costing method:
Config Package → Use Table 27 – Item and include No. plus the relevant cost field (Unit Cost, Last Direct Cost, Standard Cost, or Average Cost).

Standard Cost → Don’t just import numbers — you need to run the Standard Cost Worksheet and Implement so Business Central posts the changes and handles revaluations properly.
FIFO / Average Cost → Changing the Unit Cost on the Item card won’t update on-hand value. For that, you need to use the Revaluation Journal.
Edit in Excel → On the Item list or journals, you can open in Excel, bulk edit costs, and publish back — quick and user-friendly for larger updates.
