Unknown Dictionary Error

I receive the "unknown dictionary error" about once a week when attempting to sign onto GP10.  I can restart my system and complete my log in, but what a time waster.  Any ideas on what is going on?

    Tracy,

One possible cause is that the Dynamics.set file is pointed to a network location for one of the files.   If you have lost a network connection and launch GP, it will not find the location and give you this error.   When you reboot, the network connection is re-established and all is well in GP land.

Most likely it is a modifed report file.   Open Dynamics.set with Notepad and look for the word "Windows" about half way down the file.   The third line below "Windows" is the location of the GP modified report file (commonly Reports.dic).   If that is a network location, the above may well be your problem.

    Hello Tracy

I agree with Warren. It could be because of a shared modified forms or reports dictionary location, which might cause problems is there is a network problem.
