NAV 2017 integration with GitHub

Hello Experts,

Our company has decided to use GitHub with NAV 2017. Can anyone please suggest ant documenttaion to integrate NAV 2017 with GitHub. I would also like to add that we are using C/AL code so not much sure how to connect and work NAV 2017 with GitHub.

Any advice/help/suggestioms would be highly appriciated.

Hi, unfortunately there is no easy way as far as I know.

When you use extension development, you can manage it through Github.

There is no direct connection from NAV to git.

What you can do is export the NAV objects as text. You can then store the text in a git repository.

Not pretty, but can do the job.
