
Some weeks an employee gets paid by the hour (and the hourly rate is greater than the minimum wage rate) and some weeks this same employee gets paid piecework only. Is there any way in GP to base the MINWAGE pay code on the piece rate pay code only? If we want to pay this employee just a few hours of PTO, at the regular hourly rate, GP is calculating additional Minimum Wage Balance pay, which we don't want.

I think this is set by employee instead of by pay code. If they only earn money in a certain paycheck, then wouldn't the minimum pay rate be calculated? I haven't run through this, but I was just wondering if you can work it that way.
