Error opening Employee Maintenance in Dexterity Test Mode

When I open the Employee Maintenance in GP2015 Test Mode I get an error:

Unhandled script exception:
SCRIPTS - data area

EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_ERROR
SCRIPT_CMD_OLD

Debug gives:
'UPR_Employee_MNT Inactive_CHG on form UPR_Employee_MNT'

I have tried everything I could think of. I copied all the dll's from the GP to the Dex folder, I copied the Dex.ini. Even when I open the Dynamics.dic from the GP folder in Dexterity I get that error, so it has nothing to do with my customization.

I tried a few other windows and they all work fine.

Does anybody have any idea what's going on, and what I should do? I am developing a customization that involves the Employee Maintenance and it would be a major pain to have to create a new chunk every time I want to test something.

What customization you have done to Employee Maintenance?

If you already have deployed your customization, remove your product from GP and then test Employee window to confirm if issue is because of your customization or not.

Thanks Almas, but if you read my post carefully I'm not having the problem in run-time but in test mode, and I am not using my dictionary but the straight unchanged GP dictionary.

Hi Patrice

There is a bug in the GP code that can be replicated by opening Employee Maintenance in Test Mode.

Go to the Debug menu and turn off Show Debug Messages to avoid getting the error.

I can get it to in my system

Unhandled script exception:

Attempt to use old()/diff() from a field that does not have focus.

EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_ERROR

SCRIPT_CMD_OLD

You were talking about chunk creation and mentioned customization so I got impression that may be you have already added your product and then getting error.Anyways I think David post may help you.

Thanks David. I should have thought of that, except that on my system it did not mention the old/diff error, otherwise I would have. And I always have the Show Debug Messages turned on because I make extensive use of assertions in my code.
